1011 Notification List — Both Lists to be Distributed Weekly
The first 1011 Notification List will be distributed within the next couple of weeks. After that we will continue to run the 0911 list for distribution on Wednesdays, and will distribute the 1011 list on Thursdays. This will continue until the final 0910 list is distributed.
Final voucher for 0910 — Friday, May 14
Truth In Lending — How State Loans are Affected
The Nursing Student Loan is the only state loan administered by HEAB that is affected by the new federal Truth in Lending regulations. The other loans: Minority Teacher Loan, Teacher of the Visually Impaired Loan, and the Teacher Education Loan are not affected because they are 100% forgivable loans. The NSL is only 50% forgivable. If you are interested in meeting with me sometime during the WASFAA conference to determine appropriate procedures for implementing the new regulations and how they pertain to the NSL, please email me (connie.hutchison@wi.gov).
