COMBINED NOTIFICATION - ERROR REPORT TO REPLACE OLD REPORTS
WE WILL CONTINUE TO SEND THE FLAT FILE IN ITS CURRENT FORMAT INDEFINITELY!!
HEAB has developed a new notification list that combines the current notification list and the three error reports. We have schools in each sector testing the list to evaluate the format and the impact it will have on current systems. We have incorporated the first round of suggestions and are now re-testing the list before we come up with a final version. The intent is to have one list with all student information - not a notification list and three error reports. Here is the plan for rollout:
| October: | Continue to test, work with FAAs to get user-friendly version |
| November: | Send all schools the new list as well as old lists in current format Have session at WASFAA to answer questions |
| December: | Begin using new Notification Error report exclusively |
I realize that changes from HEAB mean changes all over the state. We are testing this with your colleagues so that what we send is truly easier to use and a better way to provide you the information you need.

HIGH SCHOOL GUIDANCE COUNSELOR WORKSHOPS
Workshops will be held in October rather than November this year. I truly appreciate the work that
WASFAA does coordinating the sessions and making the presentation relevant and interesting. I want
to thank all of the coordinators, presenters and committee members for their excellent work. I’d
also like to thank this terrific HEAB staff for being so willing to ensure that someone from our
small staff attends every workshop.
TUITION GRANT
Wisconsin State Statutes dictate that TG awards must be frozen when commit levels reach 122%. This
requires lots of work by the financial aid offices in the private/independent colleges and
universities, and by Mary Lou Kuzdas in our office. Mary Lou indicates that the level of cooperation
and sweat in cleaning your lists is terrific. Thanks.
