PLEASE NOTE:
- 1993-94 was the first year Federal Methodology (FM) was instituted. Congressional methodology was used prior to FM.
- 1995-96 and 1996-97 updated 11/98 per revised information provided by WTC system (WTC system
data includes all students, not just those receiving financial assistance.)
- 1997-98 difference in average aid is the result of excluding the un-subsidized Stafford, other
non-need based assistance, and short term institutional loans.
- 1998-99 institutional employment and short term (less than one year) institutional loans were
excluded form Institutional Assistance.
- 1998-99 the definition of Need-Based and NonNeed-Based Assistance has been revised for WISSIS data.
